There will be changes on some public transport routes as of May 20

„Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of May 20 and until the end of the summer changes will be made in some bus routes and new schedules for working days and holidays will be introduced.

As of May 20 and until the end of the summer season, but not earlier than until August 31, the following bus schedules will be changed due to an increase in passenger flow and in order to provide a more comfortable transportation to popular recreation places, beaches and allotments in Mangaļsala, Vecāķi, Daugavgrīva and Vakarbuļļi:

Bus No. 58 will run during the summer season also on holidays, so it will run to Vecāķi on working days as well as on holidays (except some runs). Changes will be made in the route’s schedule for working days.
Bus routes No. 3 and 30 will have a new schedule for holidays. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, starting from 7:34, bus No. 3 will go to Vakarbuļļi, and bus No. 30 as of May 20 will also run on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
For passengers’ comfort, there will be more runs on bus route No. 36. Changes will be made in the route’s schedules for both working days and holidays.
Bus route No. 29 will be extended to Vecāķi until the end of the summer season, so bus No. 29 will run by route „Mežciems – Vecmīlgrāvis – Vecāķi”. We also draw your attention to the fact that the bus departing at 8:31 from Mežciems will go to terminal „Vecmīlgrāvis”.
To provide a more comfortable transportation to Riga beaches, as of May 20 working day and holiday schedules of bus routes No. 2, 24, 19 and 29 will be changed.

As of May 20 a summer schedule is introduced on holidays for bus routes No. 15 and 31.
